The Department of Comparative Pathobiology, Tufts University, School of Veterinary Medicine, seeks an instructor to teach biochemistry/metabolism and physiology to first-year students in the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine program, for the 2022-2023 academic year. Courses start August 22, 2022. Flexibility exists in the position configuration and duties, as we are open to applicants interested in teaching one or both areas. The appointment may extend up to 12 months and part-time or full-time employment can be offered.

A Master’s or PhD in a relevant area, or DVM or equivalent degree, is required. Experience teaching veterinary or animal science students is considered an asset, but other relevant experience will be considered. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Candidates should submit a curriculum vitae and a cover letter describing their qualifications, teaching interests and experience. The names, addresses, phone numbers, and e-mail addresses of three references should be provided.
