The Advancing Belonging and Connecting (ABC) Committee upholds our association’s commitment to be intentional and accountable in fostering belonging and connection for every student, faculty member, and staff member. The committee’s responsibilities are to: 1) create and deliver events that strengthen belonging and connection, 2) advise the ABE Board and Standing Committees to ensure all ABE-sponsored activities reflect our commitment to inclusive excellence, 3) identify and support professional development opportunities that promote best practices in advancing belonging and connection, and 4) share and disseminate expertise, acting as a resource for members committed to these practices. The chair may serve no more than two consecutive two-year terms.
