Position Description
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics in the University of Louisville School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure track position with a career emphasis on excellence in teaching. The successful applicant will be a skilled educator interested in becoming a leader in the field of biochemistry education at the undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. In addition to superior teaching skills, preference will be given to applicants with leadership experience in course development and experience working in large interdisciplinary professional school courses. In line with promotion guidelines at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, appointees will also be expected to excel in educational scholarship as part of their career development. Appointments are expected at the level of assistant or associate professor, but exceptional candidates will also be considered at the full professor level.
